Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Will Be Here For The Holidays

The New Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Game Will Come To The Xbox Series X and PS5 Along With Google Stadia and PC.

After the Photoshop Teaser yesterday with Boss Logic, Ubisoft posted the first movie trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Once the game comes out this holiday season, you’ll be able to enjoy it on both the latest generation — PlayStation 4 and Xbox One — and next-generation consoles — Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5—as well as Windows PC and Google Stadia.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the star of Eivor, the Viking raider and the chief of the clan. Players may opt to play as a female or male Eivor, and will be able to customize it or her with a variety of hair, tattoos, clothes, war paint, and weapons, Ubisoft says. Assassin’s Creed’s classic open-world action-adventure gameplay is coming back, and Valhalla is building on the basis with raids along with settlement building and expansion, and political influence mechanics.

Ubisoft Montreal, the studio behind Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Origins, is leading the production of Valhalla. Here’s the official Ubisoft story for the game:

Driven from Norway by endless wars and dwindling resources in ninth century AD, players will lead Eivor’s clan of Norsemen across the icy North Sea to the rich lands of England’s broken kingdoms. Players must carve out a new future for their clan, reliving the ruthless fighting style of Viking warriors with a revamped combat system that includes the ability to dual-wield weapons against a greater variety of enemies than ever before. To secure resources, players can lead raids to select locations using their longship to earn much-needed riches and supplies. As the Vikings begin to settle in their new home, they encounter resistance from the Saxons, including King Aelfred of Wessex, who denounces them as heathens and looks to be the sole ruler of a civilized England. Against all odds, Eivor must do what is necessary to keep Valhalla within reach.
