Best Nintendo Switch Games of 2020 Given to you with our most honest and sincere opinion instead of being paid to say it.
Multiple consoles were launched in 2020. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but the Nintendo Switch was still ahead of its competitors. The hybrid console-handheld had another fantastic year, with huge sales on the strength of its games lineup and quarantine conditions. The situation caused families to search for a way to occupy their time.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Animal Crossing has been a treat to fans for two decades, but this year’s world events have really made it a game of the moment. As people around the world deal with the pandemic and ensuing lockdowns, Animal Crossing: New Horizons was a basic, socially distanced pleasure—a sense of routine and togetherness in a year desperately lacking in both.
XENOBLADE CHRONICLES: DEFINITIVE EDITION
Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is, without a doubt, the best way to experience Shulk’s story and manages to earn a place as a standout title in the Switch’s overall library.
For its stylish action games that crack genre molds, Supergiant Games has become renowned. When it came to making a roguelike Hades, the studio added the one thing that a genre based on repeated death and rehearsal does not appear to do: an excellent, entertaining plot that grows and enriches because you die and restart, not in spite of it.
Murder By Numbers
It has almost everything you can expect from an interactive crime drama: twists of surprise, complicated motivations, violent assassinations, and plenty of clues to discover. It’s easy in some ways, a tense and serious story, but also sweet and lighthearted in the mold of the Phoenix Wright series.
In some respects, in the vain of Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing, Spiritfarer is a farming and management game. What’s more, cute, anthropomorphized animals are your mates. You can give them hugs, too!
