Today Entertainment Weekly gave us something to geek out about. The first real photos of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel. Not the green suit we saw before, but the actual Captain Marvel Suit we have all been waiting to see. It looks stunning to say the least. Here is what EW had to say:

Captain Marvel is on the cover of Entertainment Weekly’s latest issue, and we’ve got the first look at Brie Larson’s part-Kree, part-human hero. Audiences briefly saw Carol’s symbol in the end-credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War, but come March 2019, the Air Force pilot with alien powers will be getting her own origin story.

Not only is Captain Marvel the first solo, female-led movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it’s an introduction to the most powerful hero the MCU has ever seen.

Here is their instagram full of photos:

There is a bunch of production stills, which include a young Nick Fury with TWO eyes, Carol’s mentor Mar-Vell / Walter Lawson (played by Jude Law), and the return of Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace). According to Anna Boden “This is not a superhero who’s perfect or otherworldly or has some godlike connection,” Boden said. “But what makes her special is just how human she is. She’s funny, but doesn’t always tell good jokes. And she can be headstrong and reckless and doesn’t always make the perfect decisions for herself. But at her core, she has so much heart and so much humanity — and all of its messiness.”
