Edens Zero Anime is an adaptation of Hiro Mashima Manga. The score will be done by Yoshihisa Hirano.
A new promotional video for the TV anime of Hiro Mashima’s Edens Zero manga was unveiled by Kodansha on Wednesday. The teaser video introduces additional cast and staff and confirms the April 10 premiere of the anime.
For this new project, director Shinji Ishihira is returning from the Fairy Tail anime as the general director of EDENS ZERO alongside Yushi Suzuki (episode director of Fairy Tail) as the director of the series, Mitsutaka Hirota (Rent-a-Girlfriend) writing the script and composition of the series, and Yurika Sako (Lostorage conflated WIXOSS animation director) drawing the designs of the characters.
Rie Kugimiya returns to the Fairy Tail voice of Happy, who this time is a robot cat. Takuma Terashima (Lay Glanzudlii in The Misfit of Demon King Academy) is joining her, voicing the main hero Shiki Granbell, and Mikako Komatsu (Minerva in Re:ZERO-Starting Life in Another World-) voicing Rebecca Bluegarden, the heroine of the Happy series.
EDENS ZERO Anime starts on Nippon TV and affiliated stations on April 10 at 24:55 (effectively 12:55 am on April 11). At this point, no western release has been confirmed. You can read the manga series right here if you can’t wait for the TV anime series to launch.
