We talked about the Xbox Series X and now we have the info on the PS5. The next generations of consoles are finally arriving. They are boasting about the power of these machines, but when it comes to a PC there is still no comparison. We have also gone ahead and made a side by side comparison of the two consoles which from the look of things, Microsoft has beaten PlayStation in the console wars.Â

While it is self-evident that the xbox is a more powerful system, when it comes to raw graphics performance, I’m really interested to see where Sony’s emphasis on SSD speed puts it. Frankly, we’re going to see a large difference in initial load times (it’s twice as fast!), which is awesome, but I’m curious if, from there, things change while in game. The big question, however, is price. If one slides under the other, I feel that will be the nail in the coffin.

Also to note, all future xbox games will most likely be on PC. If people already have a decent PC, there really is no reason to buy a next gen xbox. Sony will most likely have exclusives games that you won’t be able to play unless you have a PS. Sony learned the lesson from Nintendo, games sells the console, not just specs.
