Game of Thrones Series Finale Review (Spoilers)

Fans were not happy with the Game of Thrones Series Finale. So little time and so much left unfinished. Perhaps a 10 episode series finale would have left room for more closure. Having watched all 8 seasons over the years, many questions were left unanswered.

Game of Thrones is a story of politics and intrigue. One could argue that the best players won. Those were Sansa and Tyrion. Arya left on a ship, as she always wanted to, setting sail to discover new worlds. (Spin-off anyone?). Bran used his powers to escape reality mentally, but ensured the best outcome for the 6 kingdoms or perhaps because he is a bit selfish. Tyrion rules the 6 kingdoms as the hand of the KING. Sansa is the Queen in the North as she deserves at the very least. Jon didn’t get the throne. He never wanted it. He lives with the free folk as he wanted and is probably the biggest loser in the Game of Thrones because he didn’t play the game that well. But he did get what he wanted and that is ok.

What are fans saying about it?

Again, probably the biggest upset was the fact that there is that there was just too much story left to cram into 6 episodes. We think a 10 episode arc could have potentially easily the pacing issues in this season (and last). We still think it’s the greatest show of all time, and we’ve enjoyed the journey.

For someone who lives with a disability, the ending might have been everything they ever wanted. To be seen, to feel like they could have won the game of thrones. The series finale was huge for those with disabilities in life because it was an episode about perseverance and how great stories are born from it. What is your take on the series finale?
