Hayden Christensen To Join the Star Wars Ashoka Series as Anakin Skywalker Revealing the Dark Side 101

When Lucasfilm revealed that Hayden Christensen would reprise his role as Darth Vader for the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series last winter, the internet split in half. That won’t be the last time we see the Chosen One in a live-action television series. Hayden will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker in the upcoming Ahsoka series starring Rosario Dawson, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “It will be a day long remembered,” Darth Vader himself once said.

Anakin Skywalker is a Force-gifted being from Tatooine who served as Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Padawan pupil in the Star Wars Prequels before becoming Darth Vader in the Revenge of the Sith film. Both Sith and Attack of the Clones featured Christensen as Anakin Skywalker.

Hayden Christensen is currently credited to be in all six episodes of the first season of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Ahsoka was Anakin’s Padawan when he was still a Jedi, as revealed in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. As the narrative progressed, their amicable interaction became a tragic tale as her teacher became increasingly lured to the Dark Side. Even though their precise voyage will most likely not be repeated in this new series, it could still be a key story aspect.

Hayden’s return to Jedi robes might be for only a minor part. However, we have our doubts. They could film a little appearance in private and no one would notice, but a larger role would be difficult to conceal. As a result, this report has been written. We have a hunch this will be the Ahsoka/Anakin reunion that fans were hoping for.

Hayden Christensen will play Anakin Skywalker in the Ahsoka series, which is set five years after the events of Return of the Jedi, according to THR. Because Darth Vader was murdered at the end of the film, it’s unknown how Anakin will appear on the show, but conjecture is that he will appear as a Force Ghost or in flashbacks. In any case, Christensen has returned to the Star Wars universe, and he appears to be relishing the part of Skywalker/Vader, much as McGregor did for Obi-Wan.
