HBO Unveiled The Long-awaited Premiere Date For Game of Thrones season 8

As promised, last night HBO unveiled the long-awaited premiere date of Game of Thrones season 8. Wow, what a teaser trailer it is fans. This trailer comes ahead of the third season premiere of True Detective starring Academy Award-winner Mahershala Ali.

In the trailer we see the “Crypts of Winterfell.” We get eerie hints to things that are coming to House Stark as well as confirmation that Season 8 will grace the screen on your smart TV, April 14, 2019!

Jon has yet to find out that he is half Targaryen and half Stark, but that revelation will certainly take place during the first episode of the season. The final season, of course, will have 6 episodes which will be like a movie with a run time of allegedly an hour and 30 minutes, give or take a few.

According to Watchers on The Wall, “HBO unveiled that the teaser was directed by David Nutter, who won an Emmy in 2015 for his work on the Game of Thrones season five finale, “Mother’s Mercy.”
