BLACKPINK first introduced us to “Ice Cream,” and now they’re introducing us to a new delicious treat: doughnuts. Krispy Kreme Donuts teased as a new BLACKPINK-themed donut to be released this month in a new tweet.

BLACKPINK has a history of endorsing food and beverages. They were named the new Sprite brand ambassadors in South Korea in 2018, and several members have personal product endorsements with firms Mengniu Dairy and LOTTE Confectionery. However, one of their most significant beverage collaborations came in late 2020, when the organization was chosen Pepsi’s Asia-Pacific spokeswoman.

Now, it appears that Pepsi is teaming up with BLACKPINK and a new food company for a unique promotion: Krispy Kreme Donuts. Krispy Kreme is one of the world’s largest donut companies, with over 1,000 stores across a variety of countries—ideal for superstars like BLACKPINK. Krispy Kreme Donuts official Twitter account for the Philippines revealed a surprise teaser for a doughnut that will have every BLINK drooling today.

While the tweet did not name BLACKPINK, there is no doubt that these Krispy Kreme donuts are inspired by the girl group. The remark included the BLACKPINK tagline “in your area,” as well as pink and black heart emoticons, while the doughnut itself has a black frosting with pink sprinkles. The words “Powered by Pepsi” are tucked into the photo’s corner, showing that this is part of BLACKPINK’s connection with the company.

Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa from the group will appear in Pepsi’s “Go All in for What You Love” ad, which aims to inspire the next generation to transcend their limitations.
