Then you’ll see the MCU developments unfold in chronological order, watch them in this sequence. If you’re curious about the timelines for WandaVision and The Falcon and Winter Soldier, they’re set after Endgame but before Far From Home, and you can find them further below.

  • Captain America: The First Avenger (takes place during WWII)
  • Captain Marvel (takes place in 1995)
  • Iron Man (takes place in 2010)
  • Iron Man 2 (takes place after Iron Man)
  • The Incredible Hulk (time unspecified, pre-Avengers)
  • Thor (takes place six months before Avengers)

If you have already watched WandaVision on Disney+ then you might realize that it takes place only a few weeks after the events of Endgame. The Falcon and Winter Soldier take place around 7 months after Endgame. This puts both shows before Spider-Man: Far From Home.

We’ll update this list once Black Widow is released in July 2021 – it’s already been reported that the film takes place after Captain America: Civil War, but we won’t include it until we have all had a chance to watch it. That way we know exactly where on the list it is.
