Muji Hotel Ginza and flagship store to open in ritzy, tourist-heavy Tokyo district – Nikkei Asian Review

Muji Hotel Ginza opened on April 4th in Tokyo to an enthusiastic crowd of people and journalist eagerly wanting to get photos of this highly anticipated hotel. There are 79 guest rooms that start on the 6th floor and go to the 10th of the commercial building.

The Ginza Hotel is the first in Japan for the company. There are already hotels in Shenzhen as well as in Beijing China. The company spokesperson says that Muji products are gaining in popularity, primarily in Asian countries. It has been a two-year wait since the initial announcement. Those lucky enough to step inside to snap photos were pleasantly surprised. Ryohin Keikaku hopes the hotel will further boost its brand recognition and help expand sales globally.
