A Japanese photographer posted breathtaking footage from Nara Park back in April and is now making rounds across the internet. People are in total captivation by it. The video shows a quiet scene with Sika deer enjoying cherry blossoms and even shows a critter munching on a cracker that the photographer brought to the park.

The video was taken in Nara Park, famous for its thousands of free-roaming deer, at 4:26 p.m. On the 8th of April. This was during the time when the country was advised to stay in while Japan was under a state of emergency. Those who were unable to work from home were allowed to still work. They had to abide rules that stated they had to avoid confined spaces and large groups and loud conversations.

Nara Park is famous for its Sika deer population. Tourists would usually buy crackers sold in the park that were specifically intended to feed the deer, making them a very popular attraction for anyone visiting the park. At the beginning of March, with the number of visitors dropping and locals engaging in social distancing, the deer were seen leaving the park and wandering in the streets searching for food as well.

Since the video was posted, the clip has gone viral all over the world, gathering millions of views across all of Kiki Photoworks’ social media accounts.
