The vending machines in we speak of sell Pokémon Center merchandise. They are located at Narita Airport, Aqua City Odaiba, Ebina service area in Kanagawa and Ashigara service area in Shizuoka. There’s even a 3D Pikachu on-screen who comes to greet you during the process! When you make your purchase, the item you select comes out in special packaging you can’t get anywhere else!

Have you been to one of the vending machines in Japan? Share your eperiences with others in the comments below. We love hearing from you guys. Be sure to follow us here and everywhere on social as we will be official press for Anime Expo 2018. Am I the only person who is surprised that in the last 20+ years of Pokemon that this is the first we are hearing of a Pokemon vending machine? I just assumed it was a thing well before this.

There are a few in the US but they don’t look like that.

There are four Pokémon Center vending machines in the Seattle area:

  • Northgate Mall in Seattle

  • Southcenter Mall in Tukwila

  • Tacoma Mall in Tacoma

  • South Hill Mall in Puyallup.

They all offer the same lineup of plush, video games, figures, Trading Card Game, and charms.
