Rurouni Kenshin Live-Action 4th Film is now released. All the Awesome Details we know so far.

Rurouni Kenshin

Warner Bros. released the first trailer for the forthcoming live-action Rurouni Kenshin: The Final theatrical film this week. Following Rurouni Kenshin (2012), Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno (2014), and Kenshin: The Legend Ends (2015), this is the fourth of five installments (2014). On April 23, it will be released in Japan. In a fictional version of Japan’s Meiji period, the trailer portrays breathtaking visuals and action sequences (1868-1912).

Takeru Satoh has played protagonist Kenshin Himura in each of the four films, a role that has spanned nearly a decade of his acting career. The fact that the fourth and fifth films were made at the same time is particularly intriguing. Kenshin: The Final adapts the final plot of Nobuhiro Watsuki’s manga, in which Kenshin is hunted down by Enishi Yukishiro, a man with a cryptic link to his past who is out for vengeance.
