Michelle Yeoh plays a sword elf in the planned live-action prequel, which occurs before the main series and chronicles the activities that led to the formation of Witchers. Blood Origin is just one component of Netflix’s attempt to create a somewhat MCU-style ecosystem around The Witcher. The series starring Henry Cavill, which just finished its second season, is the main attraction, but there are several spinoffs, along with an anime precursor called Nightmare of the Wolf.

Sophia Brown, who plays Haji, an elite fighter in The Witcher: Blood Origins, leads the cast. Michelle Yeoh, who plays Scian, a sword-elf, joins her. Laurence O’Fuarain, meanwhile, plays the warrior Fjall. Mirren Mack, Jacob Collins, Lenny Henry, and Lizzie Annis are among the other cast members. Huw Novelli, Amy Murray, Francesca Mills, Nathaniel Curtis Zach Wyatt, and Dylan Moran are among the cast members of the Netflix Series.
