Zeri, The Spark of Zaun League of Legends Season 12 Champion out Now

Zeri

Zeri, also known as the Spark of Zaun, brings to the Rift a variety of electric skills, such as a Spark Surge that lets her to run swiftly and an Ultrashock Laser that slows and damages the first enemy hit. While her ultimate ability releases a nova of electricity that damages adjacent enemies while also overcharging her.

“Shooters are intriguing because they require a great level of precision. “Aim matters—one it’s of the most crucial things you can do,” says August Browning, lead game designer. “ADCs in League can attack incredibly quickly, but they don’t really engage in precise games like you do in FPSs.” Mr. Skillshot Man, Ezreal, is the closest we have to it, but he’s still a long way off. We wanted to see if we could bring that experience to League.” “There’s something extremely fulfilling about spraying down someone in an FPS that we don’t get with ADCs, so we wanted to see if we could bring that feeling to League.”

Zeri is a fiery, impetuous young woman from Zaun’s working class who uses her electric magic to energize herself and her custom-made rifle. Her ephemeral power reflects her emotions, and her sparks reflect her lightning-quick attitude to life. The champion is a deeply sympathetic person who brings the love of her family and home into every battle. Though her zeal to help can backfire at times, she is convinced of one thing: if you stand up for your community, it will stand up with you.

Character Bio

Raised in a large working-class family, Zeri grew up surrounded by warmth, care, and many strong opinions. They were no strangers to hardship, having lost loved ones to Zaun’s dangers. Even so, their community was their strength.

From birth, she had a unique relationship with electricity. Each giggle caught a spark—each cry, a shock. Magic wasn’t rare in Zaun, but Zeri’s electric charm was. It charged with her emotions, sometimes grounded, sometimes building to fierce and fiery. By her teenage years, her neighbors knew she was more likely the cause of power outages than a broken circuit. Life in Zaun was beautiful chaos, her grandma would say, and she embodied that all too well.

“We don’t make heroes with a particular type of auto attack solely to stand out. August notes, “It’s a technique to convey a very unique emotion when playing as the character.” “We wanted to bring the FPS precision fantasy to League, therefore she has distinct autos.” However, she will have a longer learning curve than other ADCs. A good Zeri will be moving around a lot to land all of her Qs, but it’ll take some practice to reach to that stage because she’s not like the other ADCs on the roster.”
